Personal Information
I am married to Paul Drechsler. We have two teenage sons. Abe is a sophomore at NCSU and Zach is a Senior at Davie County High School.
I am an active member of First Presbyterian Church where I help with the Community Breakfast, Children’s and Youth activities and serve on the Christian Education Committee. This past year I was a Co Captain for the Relay for Life Team and planned to help our church with a Relay Team for 2010.
I assist with the training of volunteers for Davie County Domestic Violence and help with the Domestic Violence Walks in the spring. Over the years I have served on Committees and assisted in programs and activities in the Davie County School System including being on the Mocksville Elementary School Advisory Board, and serving watermelons to the football team before the start of each season.
I enjoy going to the YMCA and knitting. I am a certified knitting instructor and teach knitting classes in the community. My designs have been published in numerous books and magazines.
